About the Role

The Sales Officer – Team Leader will oversee sales activities, manage a team of sales agents, and drive the company’s growth through effective sales strategies. The role combines direct sales responsibilities with leadership, planning, and performance management.

Key Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities Sales & Business Development Promote and sell Pro Power Co Ltd products and services (solar systems, batteries, power backup units, inverters, electrical services, etc.). Identify new market opportunities and build strong relationships with clients. Conduct sales presentations, product demonstrations, and client visits. Prepare quotations, sales proposals, and contracts. Ensure customer satisfaction through follow-up and after-sales support. Achieve assigned monthly and quarterly sales targets. Team Management Lead, supervise, and support a team of sales agents. Train team members on product knowledge, sales techniques, and customer engagement. Assign sales targets to team members and monitor performance. Conduct weekly performance reviews and provide constructive feedback. Motivate the team to achieve both individual and team sales goals. Assist in recruiting, onboarding, and mentoring new sales staff. Organize regular field activities and accompany agents when needed. Planning & Reporting Develop weekly and monthly sales plans aligned with company goals. Track market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback. Prepare detailed sales reports and present them to management. Recommend improvements in sales processes and marketing strategies.

Requirements

Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Sales, Marketing, Business Administration, or related field. Minimum 2–3 years of experience in sales, with at least 1 year in a team leadership/supervisory role. Experience in solar products, electrical systems, or energy solutions is a strong advantage. Strong communication, leadership, and negotiation skills. Ability to motivate and manage a team effectively. Good organizational and reporting skills. Must have a driving license CAT A. High level of integrity and professionalism. Fluency in Kinyarwanda; English or French is an added advantage
