We are seeking a reliable and skilled Electrician to join our team. You will be responsible for ensuring the safe and effective operation of electrical systems by performing installations, troubleshooting complex issues, and conducting routine maintenance. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, possesses strong problem-solving skills, and is committed to following strict safety regulations (NEC/OSHA).
Installation: Install wiring, control, and lighting systems in new or existing structures. Connect wires to circuit breakers, transformers, and other components. Maintenance: Inspect electrical components (transformers, circuit breakers, etc.) to identify hazards or defects and ensure compliance with codes. Troubleshooting: Diagnose malfunctioning systems and components using testing devices like voltmeters, ohmmeters, and oscilloscopes to find the root cause of breakdowns.
Licensing: A valid state-issued Electrician’s license (Journeyman or Master) is typically required. Education: High school diploma or GED; completion of an electrician apprenticeship program or technical college degree. Technical Proficiency: Deep knowledge of electrical theory, circuitry, and power distribution. Physical Demands: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Comfort working at heights (ladders/scaffolds) or in cramped spaces (crawl spaces/attics). Normal color vision to distinguish between color-coded wires. Soft Skills: Strong critical-thinking and diagnostic skills, clear communication, and a focus on safety.
